Lockin Security
Whenever we come across a new product to help protect your toys from theft, we try to get it printed as soon as possible. A few weeks ago, we came across a new product that will certainly help deter even the most sophisticated thief. The product is called the LockIn security system. The easiest way to describe this locking system is to say that it is a remote control activated deadbolt that uses the strongest parts of the trailer to keep the doors locked from the inside. Since there is no access to the lock from the outside, the person wanting to rip you off cannot tamper with it and has no idea why the door won’t open, hopefully frustrating and ultimately causing them to move on.

But the security doesn’t stop there. The LockIn System is designed to offer three levels of protection. As we described above, the first is deadbolt, driven by a ram that locks the doors and ramps down tight. Phase two is the vibration-activated alarm that will sound as the lights begin to flash bringing as much attention to the trailer as possible. If your trailer should be attacked by a particularly stupid thief that continues to try to hook up the trailer while the alarm is going off, he will be disappointed to find out about phase three of the system, which locks the trailer brakes so the only way it’s moving from its location is to be dragged.

LockIn offers an optional solar panel to keep a trickle charge on your batteries if you should happen to store your trailer or need to leave it unattended on a construction site where power is not available. Installation of this product is relatively easy and can be accomplished in a few hours by someone with decent mechanical skills. Take a look at the illustrations to get an idea of how this system works and if you have the need to add extra security give the folks at LockIn a call at 303-834-8205 or visit them online at www.lockinsecurity.com.
