There is no other toyhauler in the industry that announces itself quite so boldly amidst the night sky as the Inferno from KZ. This off-road, stalking, very well-equipped fun machine really comes alive in the absence of daylight, truly radiating with the bright orange glow of liquid magma. If for some reason the appealing look of this rig doesn’t immediately draw you inside, the interior soon will…

Serious Fun with Fun Mover
Serious Fun with Fun Mover - 2006-08-01

This month’s feature brings us to the very first RV Company to have a drivable toyhauler-Four Winds International out of Elkhart, Indiana. Now, with 10 years of manufacturing the Fun Mover behind them, Four Winds watched Fun Mover sales steadily grow. Not resting on their laurels, the product development continues starting with the full body paint that is now available. These units are very hot looking and you can just picture yourself going down the road in this head turning machine.

2007 AllStar by Newmar Corporation
2007 AllStar by Newmar Corporation - 2006-06-09

When we first heard that Newmar Corporation was developing a class A toyhauler, as you can imagine, we were very excited. Then we found out that it would be a mid engine diesel pusher with two slides, full body paint, a side loading garage, three flat screen TV’s and they would call it the AllStar. To say the least, our curiosity was peaked...

Carson Trailers 2006

Ragen
Ragen - 2006-02-09

I just checked out some of the new Rage’n Inc. toyhaulers and I must say I really like the direction that they are going. Rage’n is one of those companies that only makes toyhaulers. So they put all their efforts into making and designing the best trailer possible.

Coachmen\'s Adrenaline
Coachmen's Adrenaline - 2005-12-05

Coachmen RV was founded in 1964 by the Corson brothers Tom, Keith & Claude. A lot has changed since their inception, but they have never strayed from the principles that had taken three brothers from their humble beginnings in their downtown plant in Middlebury, Indiana to the diverse public giant that they have become.

Endura Max by Gulf Stream
Endura Max by Gulf Stream - 2005-08-10

For about a year now we have been waiting to get our hands on the new Endura Max class C drivable toyhauler by Gulf Stream Coach of Indiana. When we were scheduling the photo shoot we were informed that not only were we getting the drivable unit, but Gulf Stream was also introducing their new Track and Trail towable toyhauler and we would get a sneak peak at one of the first ones. WOW! A drivable and a towable from the same company. This market just gets hotter and hotter.

Fleetwood Half-Ton Haulers
Fleetwood Half-Ton Haulers - 2005-06-14

Almost two years ago Fleetwood RV came out with their flag ship toyhauler called the “Gear Box”. These units were a drastic change to the toyhauler industry. With the very stylized interior, creature comforts and aggressive graphics Fleetwood made it clear they were serious about this category.

K-Z Trailers 37 Foot Triple Slide
K-Z Trailers 37 Foot Triple Slide - 2005-04-15

For all those chefs out there who’ve been complaining about the toyhauler kitchens for years, K-Z has stepped up to the plate and made a kitchen to be proud of. The K-Z toyhauler we looked at this issue was a New Vision 37kx2 triple-slide 5th wheel toyhauler with a separate garage. With the three slides, the living area of this trailer is one of the most spacious we’ve seen and it makes for a good size master bedroom too.

StarCraft\'s Travel Star
StarCraft's Travel Star - 2005-02-07

When you hear the name StarCraft the first thing you think is camping. Recognizing the need to have a toyhauler in their line-up of trailers, the engineers at StarCraft have been burning the midnight oil developing their own version of a toyhauler. Part travel trailer, part flat bed, with 'tip-outs’ that remind you of their very popular pop-up campers. The first thing you notice about this trailer is the way it sits. The beefy tires and aluminum rims give it a real off-road kind of look.

The Dutchmen 35 SRV
The Dutchmen 35 SRV - 2004-12-05

The featured Toyhauler this issue is the 2005 Dutchmen 35 SRV (Sport Recreational Vehicle) called Victory Lane. This 39.5' 5th wheel is really eye-catching from the outside with cool graphics and two slideouts on the left side of the rig. Also, on the left side is the fuel station, which holds 30 gallons of fuel. An outside hot and cold water faucet lets you hook up a quick connect hose and spray nozzle for hosing off your stuff. The left side is also where the dump station hook-ups are along with approximately 31' of some of the largest-gauge power cord that we have seen yet to run the 50 amp electrical service. Two 30lb. propane bottles are located in a compartment on this side

Ragen with National RV
Ragen with National RV - 2004-10-01

National RV has come out with another great toyhauler for the family that wants to go places and not just sit around. This toyhauler is a 34'pull trailer with a front bedroom and smooth sides. It' s rather large for not being a fifth wheel, but it gives lots of room in the cargo area for the family with a LOT of toys.

Alfa Leisure: Evolution of a Pioneer
Alfa Leisure: Evolution of a Pioneer - 2004-06-08

We have known for some time that Alfa Leisure, the original toyhauler manufacturer, was remodeling their very popular unit they call the “Toyhouse”. We are always excited when we hear things like “revolutionary” new design. These concepts are so new that we just had to go to their Chino, California, manufacturing plant to see the very first ones rolling off the assembly line.

Carson Trailers
Carson Trailers - 2004-04-23

Carson Trailers has done an exceptional job developing toyhaulers for every toy and every budget. Starting with their motorcycle trailers, they have changed from the old three-rail style trailers to a flatbed with recessed rails, tons of tie-downs, full size tires and a ramp for loading. If you’re in the market for a flatbed trailer, their smallest will carry equipment the size of a lawnmower and their largest as big as heavy equipment. And they have just about every size in between that you could possibly need.

Thor California
Thor California - 2004-04-23

THOR California’s Fury line up of toyhaulers has the 38’ fifth wheel with the bedroom slide out as the flagship. Thor has really taken a turn toward high tech with the composite aluminum framed wall construction of this unit. This particular one had the Desert Sage interior but if you want something a little sportier you can choose the Racer Red.

Fleetwood GearBox
Fleetwood GearBox - 2004-04-23

ToyHauler Magazine™ was given the opportunity to be the first publication to get to preview the new Fleetwood RV Gearbox toyhaulers. Anxious to see what the R&D guys at Fleetwood came up with, we jumped at the chance to see their new rigs. Just south of Big Bear, California, was the secret location for the photo shoot. We arrived just a few minutes before the toyhaulers did so we were able to see them roll up. Our first impression was ?Nice, very nice!? The first was a 30-foot triple axle, front bedroom with fiberglass sides, and some very cool graphics. The second one was a 26-foot tandem with aluminum sides with equally good looks. We were very interested to see the rest!

Holiday Rambler\'s Next Level
Holiday Rambler's Next Level - 2004-04-23
