Cori\'s Camping Cuisine - April 2009
Cori's Camping Cuisine - April 2009 - 2009-05-19

Cinco de Mayo (the Fifth of May) is often celebrated in the United States, and is referred to as Mexican Independence Day. This isn’t really the case, as Mexico celebrates their Independence Day on September 16th. It does commemorate an important battle against the French army, so there is some significance to the day. It is also the busiest day of the year for many Mexican restaurants and cantinas. This year, skip the lines and crowded cantinas and whip up a Mexican feast of your own right in the comfort of your home, or, if you’re really lucky, in your toyhauler.

Dodge Ram 2009
Dodge Ram 2009 - 2009-05-19

Following up the introduction of the all-new 1500-series Ram truck for 2009 is the revamp of the Heavy-Duty series pick-ups. This new HD has picked up many of the new half-ton’s generational styling cues--not the least of which is the vastly improved interior design and materials that also make it into the HD. But, in general, the heavy trucks keep more of the iconic “Big Rig” look and if anything add capacity in every area: payload, towing and people moving.

EZ Connector
EZ Connector - 2009-05-19

It happened to me, and it’s bound to happen to you, too. You’re in a rush to set up camp and you forget to disconnect the umbilical cord from the trailer. If you’re lucky, it’ll just plug back in. But, if you’re as unlucky as I am, you have to go shopping for a new cord. I could’ve gone down to the local RV parts store, but I was looking for something different, something better and easier to connect. So, after a little Internet search, I stumbled across EZ Connector, a manufacturer of a unique magnetic “quick-disconnect” trailer plug that was billed as the last trailer plug you will ever have to buy. Instead of using the conventional blade style push-on connection, the EZ Connector uses powerful magnets and spring loaded contacts to make the connection. I was very intrigued by this, as I’ve frequently had problems with my conventional plug making a good connection.

Petcamper 2009
Petcamper 2009 - 2009-05-19

since I can remember, I have been addicted to the great outdoors . . . and ever since I can remember, we have dragged our dogs along with us. Camping, boating, or even just an hour hike, my dogs go everywhere I go. As a little boy, I would go camping with my Boy Scout group—camping in tents, dogs right up alongside me keeping me warm. Today, we camp in virtual luxury in our trailer, but the dogs are still there...

See the Level with SeeLevel - 2009-05-19

Just how full is 2/3 full? How many more showers can you take with 1/3 of a tank of fresh water? If your tank sensors are like the ones on my Rage’n, then you have absolutely no idea. You also know how frustratingly inaccurate the “Empty, 1/3, 2/3 or Full” readings are on your holding tank gauge...

ToyBox Covers 2009
ToyBox Covers 2009 - 2009-05-19

When it comes to protecting the investment you make in the different toys you own, the first line of defense is a cover. The reason is very simple: Keeping your trailer and toys covered when they are not being used will keep dust from building up on the unit. Dust, as harmless as it seems, is one of the main culprits that create microscratches. These tiny scratches occur when the dust and other debris lands on the item and then something touches that area (like kids making smiley faces or someone writing the infamous “Wash Me”). Well, as it turns out, doing that actually scratches the surface, allowing dust and dirt a place to build up, and those areas will become dull before the rest of the rig...

Aero GearWagon 125
Aero GearWagon 125 - 2009-02-23

There is a company out there that specializes in small lightweight trailers and cargo holders. This innovative company is called Let’s Go Aero and is located in Colorado Springs. Since 1999, the company has been designing and making products that help you carry more, efficiently. They have lots of hitch boxes and generator boxes that go into a hitch, but what I like is the small trailer that I could sleep in and would carry my dirt bikes or quad. So along came the GearWagon 125 - GearLodge Toyhauler Camper Edition.

Cori's Camping Cuisine - Feb 2009 - 2009-02-23

CHUCKWAGON CHILI - There are many stories on the origins of Chili and how it was created. One story that keeps surfacing in history is that it was invented by cowboys on the trail during their cattle drives, and mixed small pieces of the toughest cuts of meats with water, spices and peppers that they foraged along the trail. Chili has certainly evolved from its origins, however one thing remains the same: it’s great to enjoy a hot bowl of chili and a few cold ones after dusting oneself off after a hard day’s ride.

DiamondBack Truck Covers
DiamondBack Truck Covers - 2009-02-23

Transporting your ATVs and all your gear can be a real challenge when you’re headed out for a weekend ride or on vacation with the family...In the past several years, many companies have attempted to tackle this problem through various means. Hitch racks, bed racks, and even over-the-cab racks have been designed to help ATV riders be able to “take it all with one truck.” Several years ago, a new product called the DiamondBack Truck Cover added a whole new level to ATV transportation and is providing an alternative to trailers for everyday ATV users.

2009 Ford F-150
2009 Ford F-150 - 2009-02-23

The “Detroit Three,” formerly known as “The Big Three,” have come up short in the good news department lately. GM lost the “The World’s Largest Vehicle Manufacturer” crown to Toyota, and Chrysler is living on shaky ground. Ford has fared the best of the group and, even during the recent ugly days of four-dollar-plus gasoline, their F-150 pickup managed to hold on to its “Best Selling Vehicle in the U.S.” title for the 27th year in a row.

Poles and Holders 2009
Poles and Holders 2009 - 2009-02-23

There is a company out there that has been putting many years of research into finding various ways to fly your colors when you are toyhauling or RV-ing. The company is Poles and Holders, which is family owned and operated by an RV-er. They are now in their ninth year of supplying the RV industry with their products. If you go to the dunes, the desert or to NASCAR races, a major percentage of the flags, poles and holders you see flying were supplied by Poles and Holders...

Raising the Roof!
Raising the Roof! - 2009-02-23

Imagine your excitement: You are young, and you have been tent camping or even sleeping in the back of your little import truck. You already have the dirt bike, or quad, the basic camping gear, etc. The down side, you ask? You have been exposed to the elements a few too many times, be it the wind, rain, or maybe the girlfriend, who, quite frankly, would appreciate somewhat better accommodations. But, being young, your money is tight. Time for some homework and a plan of attack.

Powder Puff Race 2008
Powder Puff Race 2008 - 2008-12-05

On October 11th, 2008, Barstow’s Outlet Center Drive was crowded with women of all ages. No, it was not an early Christmas sale at the outlet centers; it was the Mojave Off-Road Racing Enthusiasts (M.O.R.E.) Powder-Puff Race for the Cure, benefiting Breast Cancer research for Cedars Sinai.

Dual Landing Gear
Dual Landing Gear - 2008-12-03

Sometimes the smallest thing can drive one mad, like the front landing gear on my fifth wheel. No matter how flat or level the ground is, I invariably have to remove the extension pin, slide the leg out and place a shim of wood or plastic under one of the legs just to level out the front end. I thought the best way to eliminate this annoyance would be to have independent control of each leg of my landing gear by adding a second drive motor to my right landing gear. The label on my existing drive motor said Venture Manufacturing, so I contacted them to inquire about a way to make this change. It turns out this was a common request from RV owners and they had a kit all ready to go that included a new drive leg to replace the slave leg, a second drive motor with reduction gear, and switch to activate it. This was just what I was looking for; I was sold and placed the order.

Lockin Security
Lockin Security - 2008-12-03

Whenever we come across a new product to help protect your toys from theft, we try to get it printed as soon as possible. A few weeks ago, we came across a new product that will certainly help deter even the most sophisticated thief. The product is called the LockIn security system. The easiest way to describe this locking system is to say that it is a remote control activated deadbolt that uses the strongest parts of the trailer to keep the doors locked from the inside.

Lonestar Racing
Lonestar Racing - 2008-12-03

Being toyhauler people, we all have one thing in common: the toys. Although we each have a different mix in our arsenal, I think we can all appreciate each other’s passion for our given sports. The other thing we all have in common is, as soon as a new toy arrives, the first things that tend to happen are upgrades. It’s not that the factories don’t produce great machines compared to just a few years ago, but there is just something cool about personalizing your ride. Some of us are into flash and others into function, but either way, if you’re into off-road then Lone Star Racing should be on your radar.

RV Pro Plug
RV Pro Plug - 2008-12-03

Have you ever hooked up your trailer to the tow vehicle and none of the lights worked? So then you have to go and break out a test light or voltage meter and start checking fuses, connecters, and so on. What a pain!!! It would be a lot easier if we could look at the seven-way plug on the truck and see if it has power there without breaking out the tools. Then we would know right away if it was a truck problem or a trailer problem.

Red Makeover 2008
Red Makeover 2008 - 2008-12-03

Although my wife and I are currently lucky enough to store our fifth-wheel at home, we do however end up haulin’ several things into the house for cleaning. Whether it’s laundering our linen or that extra dirty pan through the dishwasher, unpacking and repacking can be overwhelming. Though most of us have realized having a separate set of household goods is nearly a necessity for your trailer, it certainly did not eliminate the inevitable: that moment we have all experienced, out in the middle of nowhere, “Honey, where is the. . . ?”

Reese Fifth Wheel Slider Hitch
Reese Fifth Wheel Slider Hitch - 2008-12-03

We’d finally made the move to the next level and purchased a fifth wheel toyhauler. We wanted to keep our short-bed truck, so in light of clearance issues created towing a “Fiver” with a short-bed truck, we knew a new sliding fifth wheel hitch would be the order of the day. We did plenty of research on the ToyHauler Magazine forums and other great sources of information, and all paths led us to the Signature Series fifth wheel slider hitch from Reese.

Skyhawk
Skyhawk - 2008-12-03

Ever since the first issue of ToyHauler Magazine was printed, we have received dozens of e-mails from people staking their claim to owning “the first toyhauler.” Unfortunately, most of these rigs, while innovative, were not going to get a date to the prom. They covered everything from travel trailers with the back cut off, horse trailers with the stalls removed, and we even saw a mobile home with the sliding doors removed from the side. UGH! When it came to actual factory produced rigs, the oldest we had ever come across was from a lady in Quartzsite, Arizona, who owns what looks like an early 80’s “Terry” trailer with a vertical lift hatch on the rear giving access to a large storage bay for loading toys. But she could not give us any details on the exact type of rig it was or who produced it.

Swift Hitch
Swift Hitch - 2008-12-03

With all the gadgets on the market today, it’s refreshing to find one that turns out to be a great multi-tasker. The Swift Hitch is just such an item. Its design is brilliantly simple: a wireless color camera with night vision and a magnetic base paired with a color LCD monitor that connect wirelessly and are both powered by rechargeable lithium batteries. Mount it to your tailgate; watch it on the monitor while you are backing up and hitch up and go! The monitor even has a reverse image feature which turns even the “directionally challenged” into a pro!

2008 VW Touareg 2
2008 VW Touareg 2 - 2008-12-03

Right up front, some of you reading this are going to ask how could some unibody air–suspended Luxury SUV replace my tried-and-true full-frame dually pickup or even that trusty Suburban or Excursion sitting in your driveway? Well, I’m not here to sell you on that concept. No, my only purpose is to get you thinking about a tow vehicle alternative. The idea was spawned when ToyHauler Magazine honcho Pat Brady and I were chatting a few days ago and he mentioned that a Porsche Cayenne passed him on the highway towing a large boat. Since I just finished a test drive in the Cayenne’s first cousin, the Volkswagen Touareg 2 with the V10 diesel, I figured it might be time for a closer look.

SportChassis\' P4XL
SportChassis' P4XL - 2008-10-02

Trying to find the right words to describe SportChassis’ all new P4XL is a daunting task. Known for their Freightliner-based tow vehicles, SportChassis threw caution to the wind and developed the all-new P4XL. Everything about this truck is big!

Dexter Brake Discs
Dexter Brake Discs - 2008-10-02

ou remember the old joke—How do you stop a charging Rhino?...You take away its charge card. But how do you stop a 15,000 pound Toyhauler? You call the Dexter Axle Company!

ASA Electronics
ASA Electronics - 2008-10-02

As editor of ToyHauler Magazine, I get to see a lot of trailers and motor homes, both new and used. One of the things I have been noticing lately is LCD TV’s in all the new RV’s and it seems to be one of the most popular upgrades to the used RV’s also...After doing some research, I found that Jenson products from ASA Electronics (www.asaelectronics.com) seem to be what the RV manufacturers are using for the higher-end products.

PML
PML - 2008-10-02

In today’s world, not all of us can afford to buy a new truck every couple of years, so we need to maintain and maybe upgrade what we already have. Two of the most overlooked things on our tow vehicles are the transmission and differentials. So how do we maintain and/or improve on what the factory has already done?

Cori\'s Camping Cuisine
Cori's Camping Cuisine - 2008-08-19

During the dog days of summer, I believe it is the best policy to use your toyhauler kitchen to its best advantage. If it’s hot outside, try to cook as much on your outside grill as possible. Why heat up the inside unnecessarily? Besides, what tastes better than a meal cooked over the grill in the great outdoors? That being said, it is summertime, and the last place I want to be is stuck in the inside of my rig. Here are a few grill-friendly recipes that are sure to please your family and friends.

Water Heater Valve Repair
Water Heater Valve Repair - 2008-08-19

On our last road trip to the Oregon Dunes, we discovered water dripping down from behind the access panel on our water heater. Upon inspection, we discovered that the temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was leaking. I was fortunate that one of our group, John Duncan, is a plumber by trade and was more than willing to help me with the repair.

Reese Titan Hitch Install
Reese Titan Hitch Install - 2008-08-19

...A little Google research resulted in a phone call over to Reese Products where we inquired about the Reese Titan Class V hitch. Satisfied the Titan would meet our needs, we headed over to the nearest Reese dealer and picked up our new hitch. Constructed from a massive steel three-inch cross member, the Titan means business! We headed out to the garage, grabbed the tools necessary for the job, and got to work swapping out hitches.

Bolt It On
Bolt It On - 2008-07-02

There are not too many things more frustrating than arriving at your destination and opening up your toyhauler door only to be greeted by the thick, pungent odor of gasoline. Things go from bad to worse when you find your motorcycles on their sides having shaken loose, still leaking fuel on your trailer floor, and then you notice a handlebar has worn a hole in your fold-up couch. I was bound and determined to find a solution that would allow me to load bikes in my toyhauler and not worry about them staying in place. I would also need a system that would accommodate a full-dress Harley Davidson...

License To Drive
License To Drive - 2008-07-01

I realize not all of our readers are from California but this is a conversation that has been coming up a lot lately. So if you are NOT in California you will need to check with your own licensing agency to see what the requirements are for your state. But if you are in the Golden State and have a three axle toy hauler, either tag or 5th wheel and don’t at least have a non-commercial class A drivers license you could be asking for trouble because the man is starting to check. So this is the story of one of my friends (and trusted writers) experience in getting his Non-Commercial Class A Drivers license.

Hyper Lite: Little Toyhauler Goes Big
Hyper Lite: Little Toyhauler Goes Big - 2008-06-06

When it comes to designing a toyhauler, it’s much easier to go big than it is to go small. The simple reason is space. When you have a lot of room to work with, it allows you to add all the things you would like to have without having to over-analyze each item. But, when you go small, every option has to be considered. Very much up to the task, the designers began development of the Hyper Lite series of toyhaulers known as the HLT. These single-axle haulers have all the necessities to get you through a day at the races or a weekend at your favorite riding area.

Optimizing Your Batteries
Optimizing Your Batteries - 2008-06-06

Of all the people who buy batteries, nobody owns more than the toyhauler crowd. We have them in our tow vehicles, toyhaulers, and even in the toys we love to play with. The two most important issues with batteries are reliability and longevity, but, depending on where you’re located in the U.S., your results can be drastically different. Heat, cold, and vibration are at the top of the list when it comes to shortening the life of your power pack. Looking at several different types of options, it’s really difficult to separate the vast majority of batteries from each other. In fact, if you removed the labels it would be nearly impossible to tell them apart. However, one manufacturer has separated itself from the rest of the pack. Of course, we’re talking about Optima batteries.

Cup of Joe
Cup of Joe - 2008-06-06

There is nothing like having a cup of Joe first thing in the morning. Now, if your toyhauler is like mine, which I’m betting it is, counter space is premium real estate. So we decided on the Spacemaker from Black & Decker. It installs under the cabinet, letting you use the space below. And its fixed position keeps it from getting knocked around during travel.

ShurFlo Comfort Air Fan
ShurFlo Comfort Air Fan - 2008-02-13

When I received the package containing my new SHURflo Platinum Series Comfort Air tm circulating fan I was taken aback with all the standard features. A quick glance at the fan container told me I’d have remote control, intake and exhaust modes, an automatic motorized dome, automatic rain sensor and a thermostat-controlled auto-temp control. This was going to be a far cry from the manual crank hatch my toyhauler came with from the factory.

Yamaha Quick Start
Yamaha Quick Start - 2007-12-13

You’ll be glad to know that Yamaha has your back; especially for those instances when your get up and go has got up and left you! This new gadget (Quickstart) from Yamaha uses a wireless signal (via key fob transmitter) to replace those wonderful treks out into the frigid temps and dark night excursions just to start and stop your EF3000iSE or EF3000iSEB generator. Cold starts are an important point because the QuickStart activates the choke to insure a smooth start; especially in those not so smooth conditions.

TPD Trailers

Bank Power
Bank Power - 2007-10-01

With the toyhauler market growing as fast as it has been the need for better performance is always valued for our tow vehicles. The trailers keep getting heavier and better equipped. Do we spend tons of money on a new tow vehicle or just upgrade what we already have? Since I am satisfied with my 2003 Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax I decided to upgrade...

Pingle Cycle Jaws
Pingle Cycle Jaws - 2007-08-08

I have been hearing about Pingel wheel chocks for years but much to my surprise they have a lot more to offer then just tie down accessories. Since 1967 the Pingel family has been developing motorcycle performance and accessory products. Their catalog is over 100 pages with everything including wheel chocks, floor tie down systems, nitrous systems, air shifters, even a drag racing practice tree and the list goes on. I am dreaming of the cool drag racing bike I could build with Pingel’s help, but this story is about a couple of their first class wheel chocks.

Putnam Hitch Products
Putnam Hitch Products - 2007-08-08

We have come across another pin box option for short bed truck owners with fifth-wheel toyhaulers. This one is totally different from anything you have used in the past. The new Sidewinder pin box from Fabex pivots at the trailer and not at the truck using a turret system. By moving the turning location back twenty inches you no longer have to worry about hitting the cab of the truck or corner of the trailer. There are no buttons to push, you don’t have to worry about slides locking up, and you can just drive down the road like a long bed.

It is called the “Door Razzor” by Race Trailer Products (RTP). The Door Razzor allows you to raise and lower your ramp door with the turn of a switch or push of a button (on the optional remote control), as you load the toys.

Ultra Fab Stabilizing System
Ultra Fab Stabilizing System - 2006-06-09

We have all these high dollar toyhaulers now, but we still don’t have a high tech or easy way to level them. Sure, we have been doing the wood and blocks “thing” for awhile, but you would think with all the technology out there that a user-friendly device would be available. With that being said, Ultra-Fab sent us an electric leveling/stabilizing system (Ultra Power Twin II) to install on a toyhauler for review.

MOR Brake Install
MOR Brake Install - 2006-04-11

Why disk brakes? Well that is exactly the question I asked Mike Butler, service manager from MOR/ryde International. Mike began to explain to me all the benefits of disc brakes over the drum brakes on a trailer.

A-1 Satallite Installation
A-1 Satallite Installation - 2006-04-11

Okay, I know what you are thinking: “we don’t take our toy haulers out to watch TV.” I must agree playing with the toys is a lot more fun. However, I must confess there is the little voice inside my head that says it is okay to want to kick back and watch TV after a hard day of riding and having fun. The problem is the voice also shared with me that it would be ideal to be able to watch ESPN, SPEED, and the movie channels which you can’t get with the TV antennae on top of the toy hauler. So satellite TV is the only way to go.

Poles and Holders
Poles and Holders - 2006-02-09

About three years ago the toyhauler market really started getting hot. At that time there were several companies including ToyHauler Magazine that started developing products for this unique group of RV’ers. There were about eight of us that all started around the same time and we are happy to report that we all are still in business. One of the products that we came across then was a flagpole and holder for your toyhauler. Corky King developer and owner of Poles and Holders had come up with a cheap easy way to fly your favorite flag while you’re doing what you love best.

Stoett Industries
Stoett Industries - 2005-12-07

Stoett Industries Inc. out of Defiance, Ohio (now that’s a city name fitting for a new product) has come up with perhaps the best design in the screen category, in terms of usability, with their SportScreen retractable screen design. This unit is more of a permanent installation. What we like about this is there is no fumbling around with zippers, snaps or magnets. There is also no reason to have to store the screen someplace else, un-pack it, attach it and so on. This unit mounts above the ramp on the inside of the toyhauler. It is situated so you can still have your electric bunks operate smoothly and there is no compromise on the loading height into the trailer.

SEMA 2005
SEMA 2005 - 2005-12-05

Automobile manufactures and a small handful of car aficionados know that the SEMA trade show stands for the Specialty Equipment Market Association. This premier automotive event previews the hottest products yet to hit the market place. Billed as the world’s largest trade show of its kind, many consumers are taunted by the fact that this show is exclusively for vendors and buyers only. This leaves both the aficionado and average Joe curbside to patiently await for the hottest items to hit the market place — unless of course they are employed by or subscribe to ToyHauler Magazine.

The battle to tie-down your toys is a neverending one it seems. There are several products on the market. The latest is the FastRack by Hellwig Suspension Accessories of California. Known for their tow vehicle suspension systems (a story for another issue) owner Mark Hellwig also happens to be a desert motorcycle rider. His family is always along for the ride and over the years he has even introduced some of his exchange students to the off-road life style.

Golf Carting with Ntense Tunes and Toys
Golf Carting with Ntense Tunes and Toys - 2005-06-14

We went to Nevada in the beginning of May to check out the THQ Supercross Finals at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The weather was perfect in the mid 80’s, the people were friendly and enjoying every bit of the race atmosphere. As if the Supercross finals were not enough, on Friday night we got to see the MiniMoto SX (these are modified little 50cc motorcycles) where five #1 AMA plates were given away to the different men and women racing divisions (yes, I said men and women because I saw more of them racing then the kids). The racing was intense, these racers were totally serious about winning, the racing packs stayed real close and it was very exciting. With names like Jeremy McGrath, David Pingree, Chris Gosselaar, this sport is going to grow and grow even Jamie Little, the ESPN2 commentator, got a podium spot in the women’s race.

Setting the Pace
Setting the Pace - 2005-04-14

Anyone who is in the trailer building business will tell you it is very competitive. And with as hot as the toyhauler market has become all manufacturers want to make sure they have a product to offer. Got Beds?
Got Beds? - 2005-02-07

Remember when it didn't matter where you slept? The back of the truck, you and your sleeping bag was all that you needed. We didn't need no stinking bed! And then it happened. All of sudden somewhere between 25 and 31 years old, a good night's sleep starts to matter. So now that we need a place for everyone to have their own space, we wanted to see what we could find in after-market beds for all the different types of toyhaulers.

Super Trick Options from RTP
Super Trick Options from RTP - 2004-12-05

At the 2004 SEMA show in Las Vegas we ran into a lot of manufacturers that are recognizing the new toyhauler market as the wave of the future in the RV community. One of those companies is Race Trailer Products (RTP), owned by Ron Mistak, a guy not new to the RV industry. Ron has been into auto racing for 29 years and was tired of not being able to do things in his trailers easily, hence his company motto, "Products to Make Trailer Life Easy". The company has only been in business for about a year, but the products have been in development for five

Outfit Your Rig with RB Components
Outfit Your Rig with RB Components - 2004-10-01

As all of you know, trying to keep your toyhauler organized can be a neverending battle. Whether yours is a fully-loaded factory trailer or a custom-enclosed box with nothing in it, everything needs to have its place. Most units are built with maximum capacity for toys in mind, so it's very difficult for manufacturers to add many of the available options because they don't know what you are going to try to fit in the trailer.

“Tie-Down Rack” from Toy Hauler Accessories
“Tie-Down Rack” from Toy Hauler Accessories - 2004-08-10

Have you ever looked inside your toyhauler and thought that more tie downs would sure be helpful or that securing your two wheelers was not very easy? Sure you have, especially the part about securing the two wheelers. Street or dirt, they love to fall, if you give them any chance at all. So we at ToyHauler Magazine came across a brand new product — the TT 100 “Tie-Down Rack” from Toy Hauler Accessories which allows you to tie down your two wheelers (or quads for that matter) to a bar in your trailer.

Spartan Chassis
Spartan Chassis - 2004-04-23

Can a concept like this really work? I came across a picture of this unique mid-engine (yes mid-engine!) TRAVEL SUPREME coach with a garage in the back and I started wondering exactly that. It sounded like a great idea for someone with just a couple of bikes, a golf cart or something that would fit in a 10ft. garage. It’s always easier if you don’t have to pull a trailer around. Besides, in California, we can only drive 55MPH, and well, 55 is 55!
