I am Lisa and me and the family live in Lakewood, ca. We are getting ready to buy a toy hauler and already have a couple quads. We are liking the Rhino or Ranger's lately and we may just grab one as well!
This board has been a great source of knowledge for me as a newbie to the toy hauler world...

Hi all, I'm Dolph.
I am originally from Phoenix, AZ but have been living in Albuquerque, NM for about 12 years now. We love the weather here.
We have been dreaming of a travel trailer of sorts for years. Our budget just couldn't support it for various reasons. So, we pulled ourselves together and went on a 5-year debt reduction plan which we completed in March '07. We immediately went out and looked at trailers and haulers. We found and excellent deal on an '06 Coachmen Adrenalin 228FB with every whistle and bell they offer. This was a showroom model and RV show unit so it had to have it all.
NEWay, we ride Harleys, wife rides a FXDWG and I ride a FLHTCUI. We also ride quads in the dirt and trails. We both ran Suzuki RM250s back in the day. Now, we are in our middle age and pain is too much to handle. So, going down on a two-wheeler is not an option...
Due to work, we have only had two opportunities to use it but plan on one weekend per month from here out to break away.

I'm Tom; my wife, three sons and I started RVing in 1973 with the purchase of a 16' Bell which we pulled with a GMC Van which held five bikes after removing the rear seat. We always created a small stir when we would arrive in a campground and started removing motorcycles. At that time our boys ranged from eight down to five yrs of age. I've been riding dirt bikes since 1966 when I returned from Viet Nam and started racing when I reached the ripe old age of 39. I still compete in the Geritol class doing mostly cross country racing and an occasional motocross with a couple of my sons when we go out to the Washington coast. Our home base is in Columbia Falls, Mt about 15 miles from the West entrance to Glacier Park.
I joined the website when we looked to replace our 5th wheel with a toyhauler so that the bike did not hang off the back. Since my wife no longer rides we wanted a small garage with nice living quarters, after searching for almost two years we went with our Titanium. The bike now resides in the bunk quarters via a side "trunk" door.

Coos Bay & Spinreel are great for fast & fun riding. We camp at some private property w/ sand access in Spinreel a few times a year and let me tell ya, its a great time.

Garage model TT. Ideally something with a loft. That pares it down a lot. Have to pass it thru the "CFO" also.
The hard thing is seeing it up close and personal. In the midwest they dont have the higher end 'haulers in stock. WW and the new Cyclone are at the top of the list and All American Sport and Play-Mor are in consideration.

Hello all,
I'm John and I have anywhere from 1 to 4 dirtbikes stuffed in the bed of my Dodge on trips right now. I like camping, don't like the tent part, so looking at educating myself in the ways of the ToyHaulers.
Looking at small, lightweight TH's as I have a small space to store it and I don't want to replace my half-ton any time soon. My mom and dad had a Dodge with a Cummins for years, and they loved it. However, they lived in their 5th wheel and travelled far and wide. I would be looking at mostly local weekend trips for the next 6 years until the youngest son is mostly on his own. After that, the Mrs. and I would be definitely looking at bigger, nicer, etc.....
Until my 2nd reply, cheers!

Welcome to the site John. You will find a few lite version TT's out there that 1/2 tons can pull fine. Look at the used market, should be a ton of people upgrading to 5th wheels out there. I like craigslist.org.

Anyhow, hello to all. We will be taking all the dirt bikes to Nebraska this weekend so we will see how it all goes, I am sure lots of trial and even more error.
See ya

My name is Duane. I live in Cal City. Diirk got me into this scene a little over a year ago, when he found me a DS650 to buy. I was hooked, then my wife asked where her quad was, and so I got her a DS250. The kids liked mom's quad, so I bought them a TRX300. Bought a Class A because I couldn't tow much with my Tundra. The wife liked the toyhaulers that everyone had camping, so I had to buy a Dodge 2500 diesel and am in the process of trading in my Class A for a Toyhauler. Thanks Diirk for helping me spend the kids college fund, thanks RRC for the truck, and hopefully thanks to Rampking for desinging my new TH.
