When it comes to designing a toyhauler, it’s much easier to go big than it is to go small. The simple reason is space. When you have a lot of room to work with, it allows you to add all the things you would like to have without having to over-analyze each item. But, when you go small, every option has to be considered. Very much up to the task, the designers began development of the Hyper Lite series of toyhaulers known as the HLT. These single-axle haulers have all the necessities to get you through a day at the races or a weekend at your favorite riding area.
From the outside, you will notice that these rigs have a very sleek, molded-type look. The LP tanks are in an enclosed storage compartment on the A-frame and the roof line has a slight wedge-type angle that really looks great. They also come with an optional enclosed awning on the entry side of the rig as well as an optional rear awning over the ramp. Speaking of the ramp, it is framed in polished aluminum with non-skid surface on the inside, supported with heavy duty springs and has self-locking handles. There are also outdoor speakers mounted on the rear along with a set of lights, a customized toy lock with a 15’ cable, and they finish off the outside with a nice set of aluminum rims.
The interior really has a lot of standard features, also. The kitchen area is located in the front with a two-burner stove top. There is also a single-bowl sink and a Dometic three-way portable refrigerator. The sleeping arrangements come by way of two Hickory Springs wall-mounted beds with high density foam mattresses. For your entertainment needs, these units also come with a 15-inch LCD TV with a built-in DVD player and a Rockford Fosgate AM/FM CD player with I-Pod connectors.
When it comes to securing your toys, the folks at Hyper Lite really went to bat. How about six 2500# floor-mounted D-rings and four 500# wall-mounted D-rings. They also added a wall-mounted tool box with its own lock and three overhead storage compartments for all the extras you bring along.
The other really interesting thing is the GVWR on these toyhaulers. It is rated at 3200 pounds which means you can pull this rig with just about any vehicle on the road. So, if you’re in need of a rig that has everything you need to get away, that doesn’t need a monster tow vehicle, give the folks at Hyper Lite a call toll free at 877-389-7444 or you can visit them on line at www.hyperlitetrailers.com.
