Explorer Specs

Anyone who is in the trailer building business will tell you it is very competitive. And with as hot as the toyhauler market has become all manufacturers want to make sure they have a product to offer.

Well, the market just became a little hotter with the introduction of the Explorer line by Pace American.

Yes, the same Pace Trailers that you see all over town working and playing, now offers a line up with all the amenities needed for a nice long weekend. The first thing you notice about the Explorer is its good looks. Pace has always built a nice looking trailer but, with the Explorer they have been able to combine the race, work and camping “look” very well, with just enough graphics to let you know there’s probably something fun to ride inside. These trailers are available from 18’- 32’ with several different models available. They are the R/T, GS and GLS and each boasts a different level of standard and optional features. Depending on the size, all Pace trailers are built with either 6” or 8” I-beam underneath, 16” on center sidewall posts and a formed steel rear header for the ramp door. All models include Dexter ITS axles with E-Z lube hubs and all- wheel electric brakes with break- away switch. You also have 11 different exterior colors to choose from. The optional features offered are plentiful with a few extras that you usually don’t get like polished aluminum corner posts and windows with vertical and horizontal sliders. You can also add generators, A/C, heavier gauge side-walls and even a beaver tail for easy loading.

The interior of these new units has all the necessary items to keep you comfy including fold down couch/beds (gauchos), mini blinds, GFI receptacles in and out. The bathroom is a combination shower and toilet while the kitchen offers stovetop burners, microwave ovens, refrigerators, maple cabinets and of course a nice sink for cleaning up. All the new Pace units are fully usable for loading meaning there are no separate garages or vapor walls so most toys will fit. Pace also offers their three-year honest, “fast and fair” warranty program and has a dealer network of over 400 locations across the United States with 24-hour parts shipping. They build trailers from 4’x6’ to 8.5’ x 53’ in length and can accommodate just about any custom change you would like. If you see something you like or want to check out their huge line of custom enclosed and professional race trailers please visit them online at www.paceamerican.com or you can contact them by phone at 800-247-5767. -THM
