Anyone, who has ever been to any type of professional racing event, has probably left drooling after walking through the pits and seeing all of the unbelievable toyhaulers. Now, many of these manufacturers have realized that their prices are not out of reach for the non-professional and there are many “Regular folks” out there that would also like to have that big gun feeling cruising down the road.
With that, we went to see the new Toter and stacker trailer combinations by Renegade Coach. Based out of Bristol, Indiana, this high-end builder has something for even the most discriminating buyer. These incredible road warriors have the ability to pack so many toys; Santa may have to rethink his options.
Since starting to build these monster rigs in 1997, Renegade has become the choice of many professional racers. Sponsoring such events as NHRA, IHRA and Super Chevy Show just to name a few, Renegade would now like you to check out their fully customizable coaches and trailers.
They start and end with the best products available for each build. Using Freightliner chassis and the most powerful and reliable diesel engines, you can basically get anything you want. The power plants include a 350 HP caterpillar with 860-ft lbs. of torque, a 450 HP Mercedes with 1550-ft lbs. of torque, or a 515 HP Detroit series 60 with 1650-ft lbs. of torque. All models come with a 12 speed automatic transmission by Meritor.
Some of the interior features are stainless steel appliances, real wood cabinets that are hand crafted by the Amish (no kidding), and a 42” plasma TV that you would be proud to have in your house! They have regular toters, toters with a gooseneck option, and even ones with full garages in the rear of the coach. They also have an assortment of different single slide and multiple slide options available.
The trailers built by Renegade will have you looking and feeling like a true professional. As you walk inside all you can say is WOW! There is polished aluminum everywhere! Top of the line cabinets and workstations and enough room for any type of toy or tool. Now, if you’re thinking “ I have two sand cars, what about me?” No worries, Renegade has developed “stacker” trailers just for the Dune-a-tic. These units are just off the hook. You have one and two story units available. The two story will carry two full size cars (at least) up top. You put them up there using a fully hydraulic lift gate, with weight ratings from 1600-5000 lbs. The gate drops to the ground so you can pull the car on and then lifts the car up to the second level so you can pull in. Their other stacker uses the same lift gate, but you pull in on the first level, on to a separate lift and it raises your car to the top so you can pull another one in underneath. As you are watching all of this happen, you can only say, “ I want one”! The lift gate also doubles as a ramp and then goes vertical to enclose the rear of the trailer.
As you can see by the pictures in this feature, these are truly top of the line units. So you may be thinking they are financially out of reach, but you may be surprised. Over the last few years prices of all RVs, especially in the toyhauler category, have increased quite a bit. Motor homes are no exception. So, if you are seriously thinking about buying a mid-range motor home but leaving the toys behind is not an option, you should take a second look at Renegade. We think you will be surprised how competitive the prices really are.
Renegade also has many great financing options available, like 20-year notes and 90 day deferred payments. They even have seasonal payments available to fit your cash flow needs.
