THOR California’s Fury line up of toyhaulers has the 38’ fifth wheel with the bedroom slide out as the flagship. Thor has really taken a turn toward high tech with the composite aluminum framed wall construction of this unit. This particular one had the Desert Sage interior but if you want something a little sportier you can choose the Racer Red.
Starting in the front of the rig you have the bedroom with the slide out that is just awesome. It has a huge closet across the front of the entire room with mirrored doors. It also has a work/entertainment station for TVs, computers, etc. The bathroom was a little larger than usual, which we really liked. As you step down into the kitchen it is very spacious with roomy cabinets and matching fixtures. The 110V electrical sockets are mounted on the fascia of the lower kitchen cabinets due to the ultra-thin composite walls.
While we're talking cabinets, we should mention that there are a LOT of them. You should have plenty of storage and each run has space above with rails, making a perfect place for helmets and other gear. There is also a designated spot for a good-sized TV. All the fold out couches were very easy to use.
At the rear of the unit there is a queen-size pull-down bunk that is about as simple as it gets to operate. The floor has removable carpet (of course) and beneath that there is commercial grade linoleum with plenty of tie-downs.

To provide maximum room for loading toys THOR built this trailer above the wheel wells so the ramp is slightly steeper than trailers with less loading space. We had no problem loading or unloading any of the toys we had with us. The lower profile toy owners will have to check the pitch.
On the outside this rig is constructed of a composite material that is basically high tech laminated fiberglass with foam insulation in the middle. (Check out the specs on the next page for details of the composite). The storage compartments on the outside are big and roomy to allow for plenty of tools and supplies. It does have a diamond plate rock guard. Some of the options available are electric levelers, a remote control awning and an onboard gas station. When you add in the chrome rims and trick-looking graphics, you have a rig anyone would be proud to own.

This trailer can haul a lot of toys. We loaded several different configurations and had room for everything. Most long travel sand cars should fit without changing rear tires. THOR also offers several other toyhaulers. For more information regarding their products, contact them at 909-697-4190 or visit them online at www.thorca.com.
