ToyBox Covers
When it comes to protecting the investment you make in the different toys you own, the first line of defense is a cover. The reason is very simple: Keeping your trailer and toys covered when they are not being used will keep dust from building up on the unit. Dust, as harmless as it seems, is one of the main culprits that create microscratches. These tiny scratches occur when the dust and other debris lands on the item and then something touches that area (like kids making smiley faces or someone writing the infamous “Wash Me”). Well, as it turns out, doing that actually scratches the surface, allowing dust and dirt a place to build up, and those areas will become dull before the rest of the rig. A good cover can also help add to the lifespan of rubber roofs, awnings and other running gear that would ordinarily be exposed to the elements.
Since we began printing ToyHauler Magazine, there has been one particular company responsible for much of the development of covers for our particular lifestyle, known as Toy Box Covers. Owner Greg Mayer realized early on that the needs of toyhauler owners was much different from your typical RV owner. Since Greg “lives the life,” he has a firsthand understanding of our needs and the value of protecting your toyhauler as well as your toys. In fact, it was Greg who developed the first cover with ramp door access so you could get to the toys without having to uncover the rig.
As the years have gone on, Toy Box covers has continued to innovate, adding covers to its arsenal, providing protection for ATV’s, UTV’s, motorcycles, RV’s, trucks, enclosed/stacker trailers and of course toyhaulers. Greg tells us that he has a cover for every rig and every budget, and he recently expanded his business, adding thousands of RV-related products to their selection. So, if you have always wanted to go “under cover” but you’re not really sure where to start, give Toy Box covers a call at 888-214-8928.
