This new gadget (Quickstart) from Yamaha uses a wireless signal (via key fob transmitter) to replace those wonderful treks out into the frigid temps and dark night excursions just to start and stop your EF3000iSE or EF3000iSEB generator. Cold starts are an important point because the QuickStart activates the choke to insure a smooth start; especially in those not so smooth conditions.

But wait…I haven’t got to the icing on the cake yet; the real rich and creamy frosting is in the install (mmm hmm). The beauty of this factory accessory is its ability to plug and play; just plug it into an existing connector, mount it in the generator utilizing an existing bolt, and bam; you can start playing! The internal antenna on the QuickStart is good for 75 feet, but if you’re in need of a little more distance you can purchase the optional external antenna and have the ability to stretch to the 300 foot mark.

The Quickstart option is compatible with pre and post 2007 EF3000iSE or EF3000iSEB generators; so run out and get your hands on this handy option so you can spend more time doing the things you really want to do!
